A Message from our President and CEO

On behalf of The Raymond L. Nixon Scholarship Foundation, Incorporated (RLNSF) and all of our staff members, I would like to send a heartfelt thank you to every one who has contributed to make my father’s dream a reality. I also want to send a special thank you to those of you who have pledged your support of our foundation. We launched our foundation on May 26, 2007, and our success would not have been possible without the generous donations of our patrons and sponsors.

Also, I want to recognize the amazing educational and civic achievements of our scholarship recipients, for they are the reason we rejoice everyday. You will get to know each of them personally during their college career, and I hope that you will show your support and encouragement to each of them as they prepare to “STRETCH and then… SOAR” to new heights in this new chapter of their lives.

Together, we will further Raymond’s legacy, by continuously striving to affect change in this world and by maximizing the educational and civic opportunities that exist for our young people.
